Charitable Purpose

Volunteer Wellington is a community organisation that focusses on championing volunteering and building the capacity and capability of communities in Greater Wellington. Volunteer Wellington works with more than 350 community based agencies providing the essential workforce needed to sustain their services. It also provides advice, mentoring and professional development in the management of volunteers to enhance the experience for both the organisation and the volunteer. Volunteer Wellington's vision is “A strong and connected community and voluntary sector”.
