Charitable Purpose

The objects of the Trust are to maintain, develop and improve the Library originally acquired from Maj Gen Sir Howard Kippenberger in order to assist in the development of and an understanding by members of the New Zealand Defence Force and the general public, of the nature of warfare, the demands it makes on commanders, personnel and on the nation; contemporary aspects of armed conflict and an appreciation of the relevance of the principles of war.
