Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To enhance the educational environment and further the educational opportunities available to children of the Western Bay of Plenty. • To support schools of the Western Bay of Plenty in providing an energy efficient educational environment. • To enhance the educational environment and further the educational opportunities available to children of the Western Bay of Plenty. • To promote the advancement of knowledge and the skill level (including social skills) of the children of the Western Bay of Plenty providing resources which will enable specialised projects to be undertaken within the various school communities. • To support and promote projects that aim to improve the educational opportunities of the children of the Western Bay of Plenty by improving access to educational resources or programmes. • To undertake any other charitable purpose which is considered by the trustees to be ancillary or complimentary to achievement of the above purposes.

Entity Structure

As trustees it is our intention to allocate significant funding to educational activities that benefit large numbers of children across the WBEET member schools. We do not provide funds for property or equipment in individual schools and the criteria for funding applications can be obtained from Paul our secretary.
