Charitable Purpose

To foster and spread in Gisborne and district, Scottish, Sequence, ballroom and social dancing . To affiliate with any other body having objects similar to the objects of The Gisborne Caledonian Society Incorporated.

Entity Structure

Society consists of life members, ordinary & junior members. Application for membership go before the executive committee to be accepted. Subcriptions are paid annually. Committee meetings are held monthly in a business manner, where secretary read minutes, treasure provides financial reports, & general business updates, on music and any other issues to update. Members of society are given an update on all issues from committee meeting.
