Charitable Purpose

"Positive birth experiences and informed parenting in a community where parents are supported and highly valued in their role” New Plymouth Parents Centre has been connecting families in our community for over 65 years. It was one of the first to be established, in 1957, and we are still going strong, helping parents with parenting. “Where parenting is everything! Supporting parents through the early years because great parents grow great children.” We are the leading provider of childbirth education, parent education and support services to New Zealand parents and we are passionate about the importance of quality parenting. We focus not just on the children but also on the parents, believing that great parents will grow great children.
