Charitable Purpose

Community Rotorua's vision is of a thriving, equitable, sustainable Rotorua. Our mission is to engage with, support & strengthen community sector organisations; foster collaborative action, undertake community development initiatives and promote community economic development. We do this by sharing targetted third sector information in our e-bulletin and on our Facebook page. We provide an interactive calendar of events as well as directories of community sector networks on our website. We provide training workshops & networking events. We respond to requests for general information via telephone, email and a website 'chat' service. We also provide practical 1:1 support and advice to community sector workers.
