Charitable Purpose

The Streams Community Church has the following charitable objective, to be exercised exclusively within New Zealand: (a) Advancement of Religion: the operation of a Christian church, within the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand (b) Relief of Poverty: to work in the community to assist those affected by conditions of poverty, social inequity and injustice (c) Advancement of Education: to offer community education programmes that contribute to the development of people and communities (d) To work for the improvement of society, specifically the communities in which we have infulence. The VISION of The Streams Community Church is to 'REACH' the brokenhearted, the hurting and the abused. To preach and teach the Good News that in Jesus Christ we find real meaning for life. R - receive, restore, release. E - encourage, empower, enrich. A - assure, affirm, annoint. C - commit, confirm, communicate. H - heart, heal, hear.
