Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Riversdale School and Community Baths provides the Riversdale and surrounding district with a covered in 22metre length main pool which is heated by solar power and a round learners pool for the community people to enjoy. We also have offered swimming lessons for various ages by hiring an instructor to teach them correctly. The local schools can also hire the pool so that they can include swimming & water safety into the school curriculum. The pool is run by a group of volunteers who are on a roster system for closing and opening the pool. The pool is situation on the school grounds in Riversdale, the pool is generally opened from Late October, early November until the end of the first school term usually late March, early April. The pool is accessed by key but does have a $2.00 admission for non key holders. We have early morning swimmer keys available. Hours are 9am to 9pm during school holidays and after 3pm to 9pm during the school term.
