Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To provide wider access to community broadcasting by promoting and supporting Otago Access Radio, its programme makers and volunteers, ensuring the community is well represented. The Society represents the interests of programme makers, promotes fellowship among its members and assists potential access radio broadcasters.

Entity Structure

The business affairs, management and control of the Society are in the hands of the Executive Committee comprising of Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer and a minimum of one and maximum of four other members of the Society. All are voluntary positions. Membership of the Society is made up of programme makers from Otago Access Radio who pay an annual membership subscription.
