Charitable Purpose

The Trust Fund shall be held on behalf of St Johns's Presbyterian Church at Hawera to be applied by the managers for the time being of such church in and toward the erection of a new church building at Hawera to replace the present church building erected at the corner of High & Argyle streets. The trustees shall pay the moneys representing the trust fund to the said managers or as they shall direct by such instalments as the said managers shall require and the trustees in their sole discretion shall think fit as and when the same shall be required to defray the cost of erection of the said new church building. The receipt of the treasurer for the time being of the said Presbyterian Church at Hawera shall be sufficient discharge to the trustees for payment of all and every sum of money payable to the said Presbyterian Church in pursuance of the trusts of this deed.
