Charitable Purpose

Bushy Park Trust (BPT) was established in 1994 to manage, maintain and develop Bushy Park; to provide opportunities for public conservation, education, recreation and enjoyment of the Homestead and Forest Reserve (Sanctuary) and to provide accommodation through leasing the Homestead.

Entity Structure

BPT is a strong volunteer-based organisation, governed by a Trust Board and supported by four working subcommittees Forest and Farm Committee, Finance and Fundraising Committee, Education Committee), -200 working volunteers and 150 members, sponsors and friends. It operates under its own Constitution and policy management structure. The Trustees work voluntarily and are responsible for the day to day operation of the Trust.
