Charitable Purpose

The Boys' Brigade is the oldest international interdenominational uniformed Christian youth organisation. The first Boys' Brigade was begun by William Alexander Smith in 1883 in Glasgow, Scotland and spread to New Zealand 3 years later. BBNZ offers a comprehensive programme for 6 to 17 year olds. Our Vision - Growing Boys into Men The Object - The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys' and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true, Christian manliness.
