Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established to carry out within New Zealand, mentoring programmes to encourage young people to reach their full potential. To provide the interest, affection and guidance of an adult to a young person through a one to one mentoring relationship. To improve the young person's self esteem by introducing an adult person into the young persons lives where the adult encourages the development of positive images of themselves, their peers and of adulthood.

BBBS of Grey District is affiliated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Zealand and is one of 18 Trusts throughout New Zealand providing mentoring services and support to young people.
