Charitable Purpose

2. Aims The Trust is established to carry out within the greater Waikato area and through-out New Zealand the following aims: 2.1 To provide opportunities for young people to gain life skills, support healthy lifestyles and respect for the environment. 2.2 To promote water safety, swimming and waka ama programs for children, young people, adults, the disabled [physical and intellectual disabilities; visual and hearing impaired] in the wider community. 2.3 To improve outcomes for Maori by promoting cultural identity and supporting community and indigenous initiatives to build positive relationships in New Zealand/Aotearoa. 2.4 To promote awareness around prisoner recidivism and rehabilitation and support programs or projects that grow the capacity of everyday New Zealanders to help reduce re-offending through understanding and action. 2.5 To do anything else within New Zealand that will advance any of these aims.
