Our annual balance has been under $10,000.00 for past 3 years. We are an Incorporated Society who work on very liitle funds, and are actually a Club to enhance Art & Craft in our area, with income from member subscriptions, plus exhibition and sales of work commission, and occasional grants from the Arts council to run these exhibitions or tutorials. We don't employ staff, pay wages, pay tax, or claim GST. We have our books Audited each year by a retired Auditor. We own our own building but not the land it sits on. We would need to report in Tier 4 but really don't fit most categories or criteria in that Tier. Under the circumstances outlined we think it prudent to withdraw from The Charities Commission as it seems an unnecessary alliance.
