Charitable Purpose

The Discalced Carmelite Nuns are an entity whose main purpose is worship and to provide others with a variety of spiritual benefits by: providing space and opportunity for worship and prayer; consoling, guiding and praying for those troubled and in need by letter, phone, email and visits; groups etc using our Chapel and facilities for services, baptisms, funerals and other celebrations; providing opportunities for private retreats or time out; a Third Order group and other school groups; elderly people from Rest Homes and teenagers and young people being initiated into the Christian life.
