Charitable Purpose

To advance excellence in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in Aotearoa New Zealand through leadership in education, training, research, professional standards, advocacy, and collaboration. NZSOHNS is committed to supporting clinicians, trainees, and the wider health workforce by fostering innovation, lifelong learning, collegiality, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise across the specialty. The Society seeks to improve equitable access to safe, high-quality care for all New Zealanders, strengthen health outcomes within our communities, and contribute positively to the development of sustainable and patient-centred health services. Through partnership, integrity, stewardship, and service, NZSOHNS aims to strengthen the specialty, support its members throughout their professional journey, and uphold the highest standards of care for current and future generations.
