Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our main vision is to conserve, promote and advance generally the social welfare, physical, emotional and mental well being of isolated senior persons. Communicare is a not-for-profit multicultural association providing recreation, support and advocacy for Auckland's seniors, lonely and those with disability.

Entity Structure

As per the Communicare Constitution we are governed by no less then 8 and no more then 15 non-salaried board members. These are all professionals within the community who volunteer their time. They employ an Manager to run the day to day business with a team of 18 part-time staff and over 300 volunteers.
