Charitable Purpose

The Trust was established for educational and charitable purposes within New Zealand; in particular to publish a quarterly journal with in-depth reviews and comment on New Zealand books, to stimulate interest in and appreciation of New Zealand literature and publishing, and to help raise the standard of book reviewing in New Zealand.

Entity Structure

Peppercorn Press was established as a Charitable Trust on 11 June 1991. Trustees provide administrative and advisory services on a voluntary basis. They meet regularly to manage the operation of publishing and distributing a quarterly journal.
