Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

This Trust was established by deed on 19th May 1994 by Robert John Gibson. It is to be held in perpetuity to pay the net annual income at the Trustee's discretion for the provision of optimum quality integrated hospital, medical and general health services for people in the Maniototo District of Otago. There is a further provision for application of the objects to be extended to surrounding districts and visitors to the Maniototo District.

Entity Structure

The trust funds are held in perpetuity by Trustees Executors Limited as Trustee appointed under the deed. Income earned from investment is applied for the objects of the deed. The chairperson of Maniototo Health Services Ltd acts as advisory Trustee.
