Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
Our purpose is to increase the ability of children living with disabilities through participation in goal-based riding activities. The Group utilises the facilities of Meadowbank Pony Club and their members’ horses to provide riding therapy for one half day per week during February to June and October to December, weather permitting.

Entity Structure
Our Rules require the Group to be managed by a Committee comprising the Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) and five other members. Operations are managed by a Head Coach supported by a Riding Operations sub-committee. The Group is affiliated to New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association Incorporated (NZRDA) who provide standards, training, certification and support for RDA core programmes. NZRDA also makes donations to the Group from national fundraising.
