Charitable Purpose

3.1. The purpose of the Society is to: a. Protect and promote the welfare of animals in Golden Bay; b. Educate the public regarding animal welfare; c. Collect funds to further the work of the society; d. Do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposes.

Our registered headquarters is in East Takaka, Golden Bay. Our constitution states we must have 3 officers and a minimum of 3 further committee members. We currently have 11 members on our committee, including 4 executive positions: president, vice president, treasurer and secretary.
