Charitable Purpose

Our mission is to advance the welfare of all animals in NZ by preventing cruelty to animals, alleviating suffering of animals and promoting our policies through education and advocacy. Provide a rehoming centre for companion animals and promote community pet de-sexing programmes

Entity Structure

Our constitution states that the committee shall consist of a chairman, treasurer, secretary and committee members. Such membership and ex-officio members shall be determined by the Rules provided that the number be not more than ten or less than five exclusive of any ex-officio members. We currently have eight committee members that constitute our governance board. This committee meets on a quarterly basis.
