At Environment Centre Hawke's Bay, we offer information on sustainability, run courses and events, sell worms and worm farms, collect dead batteries, printer toners, fluorescent lights, coffee pods, mobile phones and e-waste (electronic waste) and much more for recycling and safe disposal. We provide Zero Waste event management services and work with schools on Worm Farm education. We also offer landfill and transfer station tours to schools.
You can also view our demonstration urban backyard (plants, veges, herbs, rainwater tanks, working worm farm and compost bins). Inside we have plenty of information on energy efficiency and solar power, along with lots of sustainability related products for sale.
