Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To promote Zero Waste based community enterprises as a practical tool which empowers communities to develop a local environmental, social and economic solution. To assist the Zero Waste Network members (and the Zero Waste Network Trust) to promote, develop and implement community enterprise based Zero Waste solutions in their communities. To facilitate and assist with partnering and collaborative approaches between Zero Waste based community enterprises and other relevant agencies or parties.

Entity Structure

Localised Limited has been established by and is 100% owned by the Zero Waste Network (Community Enterprise Network (NZ) Trust trading as). Directors are appointed by the Trust to govern and manage Localised Limited. Resources and skills (human, systems and IP) are generally sourced from within the Zero Waste Network membership to assist with opportunities for further development of Zero Waste community enterprise(s) (existing and new).
