Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
The purpose of the trust is to plan, establish, maintain and operate a public museum and archive facilities or other such activities (including but not limited to - displaying historic information, memorabilia, structures, art works and sites in Ōtautau and surrounding districts) as the organisation shall deem desirable for the benefit of the community and the public in general. Also to co-ordinate research work and to provide research facilities in relation to the heritage, genealogy and history of Ōtautau and surrounding districts.

Entity Structure
